At noon on both Saturday and
Sunday the Airshow is paused for the Salute to the Nation Solemn Ceremony,
held at Airshow Center. Starting with the National Anthems of the United States and
Canada and a 21-Gun Salute, followed by the reading of the 225+ names honoring those
Veterans from WWI to the present who gave their lives in service to their Country.
Honored Guests and Reunion Groups are mustered and introduced. The Mizzou Joint Service
Drill Team performs their amazing routines and the Boone County Fire Protection District
Bagpipers perform a short concert. |

strength with an obstacle course, a Virtual Reality experience of Special Ops missions,
and interactive games, all inside an Air Force C-130.
Experience a first-person, 360° point of view as real members of Air Force Special
Operations complete actual training missions in this virtual reality experience.
You’ll see, hear and feel what it’s like to be a part of one of the most elite
teams in the U.S. military as they execute a variety of missions, including an
Infiltration and HALO Jump. |
