At noon on both
Saturday and Sunday the Airshow is paused for the Salute to the Nation Solemn
Ceremony, held at Airshow Center:
- National Anthems of the United States and
Canada.
- Firearms Salute by the VFW Post 280 Firing
Party.
- Reading of the 225+ names honoring those
Veterans from WWI to the present who gave their lives in service to their Country.
- Honored Guests and Tuskegee Airmen Reunion
Group are mustered at Show Central.
- Introduction of Honored Guests and Reunion
Groups.
- Mizzou Joint Service Drill Team performing
their amazing and intricate routines.
- Concert by the Boone County Fire Protection
District Bagpipers.
